Students interested in medical careers:
If you are planning on applying for professional schools such as medical school, dental school, etc., you will need to obtain summary letter of evaluation from a special committee. Students who plan to graduate from Penn State Altoona will need a letter from the Penn State Altoona Health Professions Committee. Students should contact the committee coordinator (Mary Kananen, email@example.com) as soon as possible to discuss what this entails. Requests for letters must occur by the middle of your Junior year, so do not put this off. Please sign up to obtain any information relevant to professional school preparation by visiting www.altoona.psu.edu/academics/healthcare_default.php.
