The Entrepreneurial Institute

Penn State Altoona has collaborated with the Altoona Blair County Development (ABCD) Corporation to establish the Entrepreneurial Institute (EI). The vision of the EI is to serve as a formal bridge linking entrepreneurial learning and academic research with real-world business applications and experiences.

The EI offers faculty, business leaders, and students across all disciplines with a unique business development network and resources. It further serves as a formal "business idea incubator".

The EI is directed by experience faculty and business professionals.

Entrepreneurship is a growing area of study for many universities and colleges. It is not limited to business students, but rather is an area of study encompassing students across all academic disciplines.
