Division of Business & EngineeringEntrepreneurshipThe Entrepreneurial InstitutePenn State Altoona has collaborated with the Altoona Blair County Development (ABCD) Corporation to establish the Entrepreneurial Institute (EI). The vision of the EI is to serve as a formal bridge linking entrepreneurial learning and academic research with real-world business applications and experiences. The EI offers faculty, business leaders, and students across all disciplines with a unique business development network and resources. It further serves as a formal "business idea incubator". The EI is directed by experience faculty and business professionals. Entrepreneurship is a growing area of study for many universities and colleges. It is not limited to business students, but rather is an area of study encompassing students across all academic disciplines.
