Accepted Students Reception Registration

The Accepted Student Reception includes an Academic Information Fair with faculty and staff representing University Park colleges who can answer questions about the 2+2 plan. Representatives to the twenty-one baccalaureate majors that can be completed at Penn State Altoona will also be available.

A panel comprised of staff from the Wilbur K. Kraybill Academic Advising Center, the Office of Housing and Food Services, and the Office of Student Affairs will review student interaction with their areas followed by a question/answer session. Campus tours led by student Lion Ambassadors, a financial aid workshop, and an Activities and On & Off Campus Housing Fair round out the day’s activities.

Visitors receive a 20% discount on gift items and selected clothing in The Campus Bookstore. Lunch specials are available in Port Sky Café, which underwent a $12 million renovation during the summer 2013.
