Academic Renewal
If you experienced academic problems during earlier college enrollment
or were dropped for poor scholarship, you may be eligible for re-enrollment under Penn
State's Academic Renewal policy. If approved for academic renewal, you resume your
academic career without being penalized by your past academic record, and begin
calculating a new cumulative grade-point average.
Academic Renewal is available to both former Penn State students and transfer
applicants. To ensure timely processing, applications for Academic Renewal should be
submitted no later than four weeks prior to the semester in which you are seeking
enrollment. Please contact the Adult Center if you are interested in exploring the
possibility of Academic Renewal.
