Re-EnrollmentFormer Penn State degree students interested in returning to Penn State must apply for re-enrollment. You are not required to apply for re-enrollment to the college or major in which you were previously enrolled. However, enrollment controls established during your absence from Penn State may affect the choices for a major available upon your return. In addition, re-enrolled students must complete the graduation requirements in place for the major at the time of re-enrollment. Students approved for re-enrollment will be billed for the $20 re-enrollment fee. If you completed courses at another college or university during your time away from Penn State, you must have an official transcript sent to the Undergraduate Admissions Office, 201 Shields Building, University Park, PA 16802. You will be notified of courses approved for transfer. Transfer credits will be added to your transcript when the grades from your first semester of re-enrollment are posted to your transcript. When courses are approved for transfer, only the credits transfer, not the earned grade. Re-enrollment applications are available from the Registrar's Office, E130 Smith Building, 814-949-5035. You can contact the Registrars Office at 814-949-5035 for processing the form by phone or visit their webpage at http://www.altoona.psu.edu/registrar. |
