SUBJECT: Last few games..

For the past few weeks I have been focusing a lot on soccer.  My last few games are just around the corner and I don’t know what the future holds for me and my soccer cleats.  I have been playing soccer since I was five or six and I haven’t stopped playing competitively since.  After this season is over and the semester ends I have to head to State College to finish my major.  I won’t be coming back for my senior year with the Altoona men’s soccer team, making this season and my last games even more important to me.  The final game of regular season will be this Tuesday at La Roche College.  After that, playoffs start Saturday and every game from that point on could be my last competitive soccer game.

I am here to get a college education and go to classes but at this point I feel like I only have a few more chances to be a college soccer player.  I have the rest of my life and however long it takes to get my degree and a college education.  (Sorry mom, it won’t take the rest of my life, I promise.)  I don’t know how it will end.  I don’t when it will end.  I just hope that I can work hard enough, and do everything I can to leave a mark on Penn State Altoona Men’s soccer.

Dear Dane, It seems simple, change your major and play soccer one more year. Love Mom
