Welcome Toni Marie Feret!
Toni Marie Feret has joined the Office of Development and Alumni Relations team as Assistant Director of Development.
Toni will assist N. Susan Woodring, director of Development and Alumni Relations, in expanding Penn State Altoona’s major gift program. With the need for scholarships, faculty and program support, capital improvements and projects, and discretionary funds continuing to outpace traditional governmental sources of revenue, the impact of philanthropy has never been greater.
“Toni will complement the team in place within the Office of Development and Alumni Relations, and add another dimension to the work that we are doing,” said Woodring. “I am thrilled to have her as a member of our team. In the coming weeks and months, Toni will be contacting alumni and friends of Penn State Altoona to introduce herself and share information about the powerful ways philanthropy impacts the lives of our students. When you meet Toni, I am certain you will be impressed with her passion for her profession and commitment to the advancement of Penn State Altoona.”
Before accepting her current position, Toni was a regional sales manager for New Pig Corporation, headquartered in Tipton, Pennsylvania, for four years. Her tenure was marked by consistent double-digit growth in her sales territory, which included Florida, Georgia, and Alabama.
A native of Brigantine, New Jersey, Toni earned her bachelor’s degree in business logistics from Penn State in 2004. She received her master’s degree in business administration from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 2011.
Toni’s personal interests include supporting the philanthropic efforts of animal shelters and leading group fitness programs as a certified instructor.
