Penn State Altoona’s new research magazine, Research and Teaching at Penn State Altoona, will highlight the research, teaching, scholarship, and creative activity of the college’s faculty, students, staff, and alumni in a range of disciplines from arts and humanities, business and engineering, education, social sciences and human development, and mathematics and natural sciences. This publication—online monthly at www.altoona.psu.edu/research (with an accompanying Facebook page at www.facebook.com/pages/Research-and-Teaching-at-Penn-State-Altoona/368527139916760) and in print annually—is aimed at a general audience with an interest in higher education.
This magazine is an opportunity to showcase Penn State Altoona’s vast wealth in research and academics. As part of that effort, in addition to contributions from our faculty, staff, and students, we need participation from alumni. Have you worked on a research project? Published a book or article? Has your career been impacted by research you did while a student at Penn State Altoona? We would love to hear from you. Contact editor Therese Boyd at firstname.lastname@example.org to submit story ideas. Want to write it yourself? Articles are very welcome. Please contact the editor for guidelines.
