Winter Plunge proceeds benefit Alumni Society scholarships and THON
The Penn State Altoona Alumni Society's fourth annual Winter Plunge raised $30,110. The annual event supports both the Alumni Society's scholarship program and Penn State Altoona Benefiting THON (ABT). This year, the Alumni Society was pleased to present a $15,000 check to ABT. Since its inception in 2013, the Winter Plunge has raised more than $130,000 for ABT and the Society's scholarship program.
This year, Penn State students were able to raise nearly $10 million for the Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital. Penn State Altoona students raised $75,125.02, ranking second among Commonwealth campuses, behind Fayette.
