Make sure to check in with the Office of Student Life so we can count you as attending and give you all the information you'll need to make your Family Weekend a success. Family Weekend T-Shirts will be available, while supplies last. Sign up for different events to guarantee your ability to participate. For those who have pre-registered for meals, pick up your tickets for the weekend.
8 - 10 p.m. Slep Student Center Information Desk
Coffee House
Connor Gilbert will play acoustic guitar for your listening pleasure. If you'd like to share your talent, feel free to ask him if you can join him on stage! Come out and mingle with other families and get a caffeine kick before Family Bingo!
8 - 9 p.m. Fireside Lounge, Slep Student Center
Family Bingo
This event is free and will surely be one of your favorite events of the weekend! Your chance to win one of our great prizes is significantly higher if you actually play! Arrive early to guarantee your spot!

Grab some popcorn and a seat to watch this new Disney favorite about a vengeful fairy who is driven to curse an infant princess, only to discover that the child may be the one person who can restore peace to their troubled land.

Don’t have your entire weekend be a “cheat” weekend! Show up in your running shoes and clothes and bring a bottle of water. Meet at the Slep Student Center.

Hike Seminar Forest with the Outdoor Adventures Club
Wear comfortable walking shoes and clothes and bring a bottle of water. The OAC will lead you on a hike in our beautiful backyard. This hike is a bit steep, so please only participate if you feel you are physically able.
9 a.m. Seminar Forest (meet at Laurel Pavilion)
Paint Your Own Pottery
Presented by Playtime Pottery of Hollidaysburg, PA. Sign up at the Check-In Gazebo to reserve your spot! Each person that signs up will get to paint one piece of pottery. Your PSA student will need to pick up your finished pottery in a few weeks after it has been fired in the kiln.

British Car Club
Come see 30-40 British classic cars (including MG, Triumph, and Austin-Healeys) participating in a Funkhana timed event/skilled driving course.

75th Anniversary Carnival
Join us for a community carnival – rides, inflatables, games of chance, a Dixieland band, food, a farmer's market, and Creamery ice cream!

Local Tours
Sign up at Registration on Friday or Saturday to visit the Altoona Railroader's Museum and the World Famous Horseshoe Curve. The tour will leave at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday from the Ivy Parking Lot and will return to campus at approximately 3:30 p.m. It is recommended that participants wear comfortable walking shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather.
