Cheerleading
Penn State Altoona Cheerleading is a great way to get involved
and show your
school spirit. The cheerleading squad cheers at all home men's and women's
basketball games and attends some competitions. Tryouts are held in the spring
so we can attend summer camp and sometimes additional tryouts are held in the
fall as well. Both women and men are encouraged to tryout. Come out at
support your team!
Penn State Altoona Cheerleading Tryouts 2008-2009
When: Sunday, April 20,
2008 10AM-3PM
Where: Adler Gym
We will be holding tryouts for the 2008-2009 Penn State Altoona
cheerleading squad on April 20th. We are looking for both men and women. Please
come in comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. You will be taught everything so
you do not need to come with anything prepared just your enthusiasm and
willingness to learn. You will be judged on the following: cheers, chants,
dance, jumps, stunting and tumbling (if applicable). Hope to see you there!!!
