Mission Statement
The Adler Athletic Complex is the hub for student activity at Penn State Altoona. The primary goal of the Intramural and Recreational Sports Department is to serve all students with a diverse menu of recreational and student event programming. The Intramural Department strives to create a welcoming environment for all students by providing a diverse variety of recreational activities, employing a diverse student workforce, scheduling a diverse menu of student programs and events, and empowering the students to further pursue other programs and opportunities for the campus community. As the Altoona College grows, the need for more programming space is crucial. With the current facilities constraints, the Facility Management of the Adler Athletic Complex needs to be attuned to the diverse needs of the students. It is the goal of the Facility Management Department to be responsive to the diverse needs of the students and offer the appropriate facility space to ensure that this diversity of programming reaches the campus community.
