The Software Applications Support Specialist will be responsible for applications support for current software systems, as well as new software systems. This includes functional support of all software systems with main focus on medical electronic records. Technical Responsibilities: • Provide applications and technical support for existing software system as assigned by analyst • Provide applications and technical support for new system on general troubleshooting issues as assigned by analyst •Testing and QA during implementation and ongoing use of new software system • Responsible for the installation, setup and maintenance of software on users’ desktops/laptops in conjunction with IT department as needed Business Responsibilities: • Provide support of users help desk issues, including updating an electronic Help Desk system • Communicate regularly with software analyst current status, problems, issues and ideas • Provide daily, weekly, and/or monthly status reporting, as needed • Provide assistance with application testing, as needed
