In honor of March's Women's History Month, Asian-American poet Marilyn Chin performed a reading of her work. Chin, who was born in Hong Kong and currently lives in San Francisco, is the author of "Rhapsody in Plain Yellow," "The Phoenix Gone," "Terrace Empty" and "Dwarf Bamboo," and the editor of Asian-American Poetry: The Next Generation. She describes her work as "steeped with the themes and travails of exile, loss, and assimilation."
