Valerie Stratton (associate professor of psychology) and Annette Zalanowski (associate professor of music) presented their paper "Induced Mood Affects Aesthetic Evaluation of Culturally Familiar but not Unfamiliar Music" at the annual meeting of the Eastern Psychological Association, Baltimore, Maryland, and it also was accepted for presentation at the XIX Congress of the International Association of Empirical Aesthetics, University of Avignon, France, August 30, 2006.
Tulay Girard (assistant professor of marketing), Cynthia Wood (instructor in business administration), and Kimberly Davis (Crist) (Penn State Altoona alumnus) have had their paper "A Method for Selecting a Logo" accepted for publication in the 2006 Proceedings of the 6th Annual Hawaii International Conference on Business. The paper was presented by Wood in Hawaii in May 2006.
