Women's Cross-Country Honored Again for Their Academic Success

The Penn State Altoona Women's cross-country team has been honored for the second consecutive year for its performance in the classroom as a 2005 Division III All-Academic Cross-Country Team by the United States Track & Field and Cross-Country Coaches' Association. The women posted a cumulative GPA of 3.398 for fall 2005, ranking sixty-fourth in the country. A total of 108 women's cross country teams were honored. The Lady Lions roster includes: Leann Cascino, Johnstown, Pennsylvania; Meagan Crossett, Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania; Amanda Farace, Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania; Jennah Feathers, Lewistown, Pennsylvania; Nellie Manis, Valley View, Pennsylvania; Kimberly Seidel, Johnstown, Pennsylvania; Kari Vanocker, Coudersport, Pennsylvania; and Emma Winslow, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
