Tonya Huber, Ph.D. '79a, '82, '85g, '90g, of Wichita, KS, announced publication of her second book on education, "Quality Learning Experiences for ALL Students." (Penn State Altoona 1977-79)

Michele (Verilla) Zoss '83 and husband, Michael, of Surprise, AZ, were married on April 13, 2002. (Penn State Altoona 1979-81)

Jonathan M. Jacobs '85, of Philadelphia, PA, has been elected Secretary of the Pennsylvania Association of Parliamentarians. He holds Professional Registered Parliamentarian accreditation (from the National Association of Parliamentarians) and Certified Parliamentarian accreditation (from the American Institute of Parliamentarians). Jonathan writes that he currently is the only individual in the state with dual certifications. (Penn State Altoona 1981-82)

Melissa A. David-Bailey '88 and husband, Raife, of Huntingdon, PA, celebrated the birth of son, Ira Blue, on March 29, 2002. (Penn State Altoona 1985-88)

Leslie Schnautz '91, and wife, Maureen, of Cincinnati, OH, celebrated the birth of their second child, Sean Christian, on February 8, 2002. (Penn State Altoona 1986-87)

Michelle Schnabel Horner '98, of Davidsville, PA, has received a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Horner is serving a residency in psychiatry at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. (Penn State Altoona 1994-96)
