Donald P. Forbes '51, of Ocala, FL, is a retired U.S. government official who specialized in Chinese and South Asian affairs. Operator of an interior decorating/painting business from 1979-86, he collects Asian art and antiques. (Penn State Altoona 1947-49)

Nicholas J. Hanna, Ph.D. '57, '62g, of Pittsburgh, PA, is professor and coordinator of the Counselor Education Program at Duquesne University. (Penn State Altoona 1951-53)

Raymond F. Schoch '59, of Cumberland, MD, retired in January 2000 as Corporate Manager Benefit System and Field Support from Kelly-Springfield Tire Co. (Penn State Altoona 1955-56)

Douglas D. Burleigh '70, '72g, is a semi-retired consultant with 25 years of experience in aerospace research and development and testing for General Dynamics and Goodrich Aerospace. He writes that he currently is working at the Kennedy Space Center, assisting with the development of test methods that will aid in re-qualifying the Space Shuttle for flight. David W. Brown '75, of West Valley City, UT, is an attorney who has been in private practice since earning his juris doctorate from Brigham Young University in 1990. He traveled to Moscow this past summer to watch his son, Matt, represent the U.S. in an international wrestling competition. (Penn State Altoona 1971-73)

Phillip A. Norton '79, of Franklin Center, Quebec, Canada, writes that he bought a farm and is producing apples and maple syrup. He also publishes a community newspaper. (Penn State Altoona 1975-77)

Don Skinner '79, of Manchester, TN, writes that he is studying industrial engineering and management systems while supporting business development and space transportation systems at the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center in Alabama and Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. Cathy A. (Yingling) Smith '82, of State College, PA, is the mother of two daughters, ages 8 and 15. (Penn State Altoona 1978-80)

Marty Jo Irvin Stellabotte '88 and husband Tim Stellabotte were married on October 11, 2003, in Altoona. Marty Jo is media relations coordinator and a communications instructor at Penn State Altoona. Tim is employed in sales and marketing in Altoona. (Penn State Altoona 1984-86)

Melissa (Brown) Miller '89, and husband, Douglass, of Bellwood, PA, are the parents of daughter Victoria, 8, and son Dawson, born in September. (Penn State Altoona 1985-87)

Michelle (Hoffner) Norris '92, of York Haven, PA, received a Master's Degree in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania in 2003. (Penn State Altoona 1988-90)

Anthony M. Roefaro '91 was the 2003 Centre County (PA) Police Officer of the Year and the 1999 AAU Drug Free National Powerlifting Champion. He has two children: Tony, 6, and Giovanna, 1 1/2. (Penn State Altoona 1989-93)

Denise Moyer-Hand '93 writes that she and husband, Bob, have been married five years and are "living in Altoona (near campus) with our two dogs, traveling and loving life!" (Penn State Altoona 1989-91)

Melissa (Michaels) Barnhart '96 and husband, Chad, of Johnstown, PA, were married in May 1997. They are the parents of two sons: Alex, 5, and Eric, 1. (Penn State Altoona 1992-94)

Capt. Rachel Sherrer '97, U.S. Army, of Fairfax, VA, has been deployed to Southwest Asia in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. (Penn State Altoona 1993-95)

Tracy (Norris) Foor '98, and husband Fred, of Hopewell, PA, have been married three years and are the parents of three children. (Penn State Altoona 1994-98)

Patricia (Kieselhorst) Cupitt '99, of Reading, PA, is pursuing her teacher's certification and Master's Degree in Education at Alvernia College. She and husband Christopher, have one son, Joshua, born in August 2002. (Penn State Altoona 1995-97)

Frank J. Rimbeck, Jr., '00, of Altoona, recently completed an eight-month tour of duty in Iraq. A military intelligence specialist now stationed at Fort Irwin, CA, Rimbeck served with the 3rd Armored Cavalry and 3rd Infantry Division. (Penn State Altoona 1996-98)

Jennifer A. Grieco '03, of Tyrone, PA, and husband, Brian, are the parents of two children: Samuel Anthony, 3, and Allison Mae, born May 24, 2003. (Penn State Altoona 2000-03)

Andrea M. Pepe '03, of Oakdale, PA, has been hired as a Customs Inspector by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Bureau of Customs and Border Protection. She will be stationed in Sweet Grass, MT, after twelve weeks at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Georgia. Andrea recently became engaged to Aaron Gray of Ashville, PA. Amber (Folmar) Shimel '03, and husband, Chad '02, of Coral Gables, FL, were married June 7, 2003 in State College, PA. Amber is pursuing a Master's Degree in Social Work at Barry University in Miami and Chad is enrolled at the University of Miami School of Law. (Penn State Altoona 1999-2001, both)
