High School: South Williamsport Jr./Sr. High School

Major: Nutrition

Post-college goals: I would like to travel to Europe for a few months before starting my career. I also hope to eventually have a family.

Hobbies and interests: Swimming, reading, SALT (Students About Living Truth), shopping, snowboarding, being around friends and family.

Favorite part about being a student-athlete: It helps me to relax after a stressful day of classes and I’ve made a lot of great friends.

Favorite thing about your coach: She’s always encouraging me to be do the best I can with swimming and is always there to talk to.

Why you chose Penn State Altoona: Coming from an extremely small high school I really liked the small campus and class sizes compared to University Park.

Athlete(s) you most admire: Natalie Coughlin, Katie Hoff, Michael Phelps

Favorite college team: Penn State!

Favorite professional team: Steelers

Words that best describe you: Caring, happy, fun, positive.

Something people don’t know about you: I don’t eat red meat or drink soda.

Best advice I received about sports: Pain is only temporary.

Biggest thrill in sports: Out-touching an opponent in a close race.
