player. Camp includes lectures, demonstrations,
instruction, drills, and small
group games to help improve sports
skills. Boys and girls welcome. Bring a

two half-day camps.

Penn State Altoona Soccer Day Camp
$110 (Ages 5-15)
MTWRF June 24-28, 9am-noon,
Coach: Patrick “Moe” Taylor
Participants will learn various techniques
of the game through drills and examples
including ball control, trapping, kicking,
heading, and passing. Emphasis will be
placed on understanding soccer rules,
terminology, and ability to correct errors.

The Penn State Altoona Volleyball Camp
is intended for boys in grades 7-12. It is
designed for volleyball players with all
ability levels. This camp will teach fundamental
skills and the correct technique
for volleyball in an individual or team
setting. Our staff will include Penn State
Altoona coaches, current and former
players, college coaches, and experienced
club and high school coaches. Campers
will receive training in the fundamentals,
tactics, conditioning, and play experience.

Martial Arts/Kids’ Self Defense

Hi-Yah! Have you ever wanted to know
how to defend yourself? This camp will
focus on teaching basic martial arts skills
such as strikes, kicks, escapes from
grabs, stranger danger, and much more
through various drills and fun games.
While learning basic self-defense, campers
will improve their flexibility, agility,
balance, coordination, strength, endurance,
and self-esteem. In addition, there
will be a strong focus on the values that
true martial artists’ exhibit.
