Look at the schedules for drop-in hours first. |
The schedules for drop-in hours are available early in each semester—check back for updates, because schedules can change. Make sure you hit “reload” to get the most current schedule. You should use drop-in hours if at all possible. This can save time by avoiding problems with phone tag, conflicts in schedules, and so forth. The schedules are at prosch.html (for professional tutors). |
| If you can use drop-in hours, just drop in. |
If you want to see one of the tutors during his or her drop-in hours, you do not need an appointment. Simply stop by the tutor’s office during the scheduled drop-in hours. Of course, you will have to wait for your turn if other students are there. |
| If you can’t use drop-in hours, check the list of courses for which we have tutoring. |
We have peer tutors available by appointment for SU09 math courses. Please follow the instructions at crslist.html to request a peer tutor. |
| if we don’t have any tutors for your course |
- Discuss problems with your professor.

- Review the study skills links at the LRC home page: urls.htm
- Consider tutorial software. Does your textbook have a CD or website? These can be very helpful.
