How to get a tutor, step by step

for Math 3-141 Look at the schedules for drop-in hours first. The schedules for drop-in hours are available early in each semester — check back for updates, because schedules can change. Make sure you hit “reload” to get the most current schedule. You should use drop-in hours if at all possible. This can save time by avoiding problems with phone tag, conflicts in schedules, and so forth.
Check the schedules now!
If you can use drop-in hours, just drop in. If you want to see one of the tutors during his or her drop-in hours, follow the directions for the tutor. For some, you need an appointment. For others, simply stop by the tutor’s office during the scheduled drop-in hours. Of course, you will have to wait for your turn if other students are there.
If you can’t use drop-in hours, check the list of courses for which we have tutoring. We have peer tutors available by appointment for math courses. Please follow the instructions for signing up for peer tutoring.
