Mana Polynesia Hawaiian Music and Dance Ensemble to perform Sept. 9
Penn State Altoona will present the Mana Polynesia Hawaiian Music and Dance Ensemble on Monday, September 9, 2013 at 6 p.m. outdoors by between the Penn State Altoona Bookstore and the reflecting pond.
Mana Polynesia performs an exciting array of traditional and contemporary South Pacific dances from Hawaii and other “paradise” islands of the Polynesian triangle, including Tonga, Tahiti, New Zealand, Fiji, and the Samoas. Mana Polynesia offers entertaining Polynesian music and dance ensembles, precision drummers, and colorful native costumes.
This event, which is sponsored by Penn State Altoona's Office of Institutional Equity, Diversity, and International Student Services, is free and open to the public.
