Faculty Colloquium featuring Margaret Benson set for Apr. 8
Penn State Altoona's Division of Education, Human Development, and Social Sciences is pleased to announce that Margaret Benson, assistant professor of human development and family studies, will present "Reflecting on a philosophy of pedagogy after a visit to Reggio Emilia" at a Faculty Colloquium on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 from noon - 1:30 p.m. in rooms 101-103 of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. Lunch will be provided.
Libraries Research Series wraps up Apr. 8 with "Two Words that Begin With 'Par': Paraphrasing and Parenthetical"
The Robert E. Eiche Library at Penn State Altoona will present the final session in their Libraries Research Series on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 from 12:15 - 1:05 p.m. in room 134 of the Hawthorn Building. Bonnie Imler, library director, will present "Two Words that Begin With 'Par': Paraphrasing and Parenthetical," discussing with students the importance of citing ideas when paraphrasing, and how to prepare parenthetical citations.
