Education Abroad Fair set for Oct. 9
Penn State Altoona will host an Education Abroad Fair on Thursday, October 9, 2014 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. in the Pond View Lounge of the Slep Student Center.
The Education Abroad Fair is a great place for students to start for the first phase of their study abroad journey. The fair is a one-stop-shop where students can get an overview of the study abroad programs available through Penn State Altoona and Penn State.
Students can speak to education abroad advisors, representatives from the Penn State University Park academic colleges, and national and international global partners.
After the fair, students are encouraged to check with their advisor to find out which programs relate best with their major and college specific rules and regulations for studying abroad. Students should also visit room 201 of the Robert L. Smith Learning Resources Center to make an appointment with Beth Seymour, Education Abroad Coordinator, to discuss the specifics of a chosen program and destination.
