SNAPSHOTS: Move-in 2009
About 900 students moved onto the Penn State Altoona campus Thursday, Aug. 20, 2009 for the new academic year. Sign-in and unloading, what campus officials call a "well-oiled machine," began at 9 a.m. Students and their families are given fifteen minutes in front of the residence halls to unload their belongings. Advisory Board members, faculty, staff, students, and Chancellor Lori J. Bechtel-Wherry were on hand to help.
