SNAPSHOTS: Jerry Greenfield
Jerry Greenfield doled out scoops of company history and anecdotes, as well as advice for young entrepreneurs during his September 24 visit to Penn State Altoona. Greenfield, co-founder of the world-famous Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, was the invited guest for the first installment of the 2009-2010 Distinguished Speaker Series.
Greenfield spoke about some of the roadblocks to his company’s success, including balancing the business end of things and the responsibilities he felt he had toward the community and social impact.
Greenfield spent time signing books, ticket stubs, and t-shirts, while attendees were treated to individual servings of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream.
