Guest speakers offer perspectives on diverse world views

Dr. Robert McLaughlin, instructor in history, and Dr. Yamuna Sangarasivam of Nazareth College (Rochester, NY) will present "Irish Republican and Sri Lankan Tamil World Views during the 1970s, '80s, and Beyond" on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 7 p.m. in rooms 101-103 of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts on the Penn State Altoona campus.

The event is sponsored by the Division of Arts and Humanities, the Letters, Arts, and Sciences degree program, the History degree program, and the Asian Studies program at University Park. This is the first of three events in the Arts and Humanities International Semester Series. The event is free and open to the public.
