Penn State Altoona educates on the 'longest running war in African history'
ALTOONA – Conflict between the Ugandan government and country’s Lord’s Resistance Army over the last twenty-three years has resulted in millions of deaths, refugees, abductions, and children forced into roles as soldiers.
Find out more about these children and what you can do to help the situation by attending a screening of the documentary Invisible Children, Monday, October 19, 2009 at 7 p.m. in the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts.

Invisible Children is committed to seeking sustainable solutions to foster an environment that encourages peace. The organization addresses the need for access to education and economic development through programs such as teacher exchange, the Schools for Schools Campaign, and scholarships.
