Agricultural Science Major Event coming to Penn State Altoona

Penn State Altoona will host the Agricultural Science Major Event on Monday, October 19, 2009 from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m. in the TV Lounge of the Slep Student Center.

The even is a great opportunity for students to meet and discuss intended majors with academic advisors from the College of Agricultural Sciences. Whether you are interested in the animal sciences; business management; community, environment, and development; forest science; education; engineering; the environment; pre-vet or pre-med; or more, advisors will be available to answer questions and discuss academic plans.

The College of Agricultural Sciences offers many incentives and opportunities to students. Each year the college awards over $1.8 million to 700 agricultural science students, making up one of Penn State’s largest scholarship programs. In addition, students interested in traveling abroad can learn about the college's diverse selection of study abroad programs ranging from ten days to semester-long programs with potential scholarships to assist in covering travel costs.
