PHOTOS: James Carville visits Penn State Altoona

A sellout crowd attended the fall 2010 Penn State Altoona Speaker Series event featuring James Carville October 21 in the Devorris Downtown Center.

Carville is regarded as America's best-known and most colorful political consultant. A professor of practice at Tulane University and frequent political commentator and contributor on CNN, he has managed more political campaigns than anyone in our country's history. Carville resides in New Orleans with his wife Mary Matalin and their two daughters.

Jerome Bettis, retired Pittsburgh Steelers running back, will headline the spring Speaker Series event on April 13, 2011. The fall 2011 speaker will be announced soon.
