Penn State Altoona SIFE team unveils new Web site

ALTOONA - Penn State Altoona's Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) team is unveiling its new Website for students, local businesses, organizations, and community members to use.

The newly developed site can be viewed at www.altoona.psu.edu/SIFE.

On this site, information can be found about the organization's mission and outreach projects, including presentations students have done in conjunction with their projects. Penn State Altoona students are encouraged to visit the site and get involved with the club as well as stay up to date on outreach projects. Community organizations and members who know of a need that SIFE could help address are asked to contact the Penn State Altoona SIFE team.

"SIFE challenges students to use entrepreneurial thinking to make a difference in their local and global communities, with help from mentors in the business world and academia. Through community outreach projects, SIFE students are using their classroom knowledge to change lives," states SIFE advisor Cynthia A. Wood. Donna J. Bon, also a SIFE advisor adds, "SIFE students have been described as leaders, mentors, life coaches, consultants, and educators. To those whose lives they impact they mean the world. Penn State Altoona SIFE is not a club, it's a way of life!"
