Brian Black, head of the Division of Arts and Humanities and professor of history and environmental studies at Penn State Altoona, appeared with former Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Secretary John Quigley on WITF's radio call in show, "Smart Talk." The show aired on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 9 a.m. and the topic was "Placing Marcellus Shale Development in Historical Perspective."
