Auditions for RUINED set for January 19

Penn State Altoona's theatre program will hold auditions to complete the cast for the spring 2012 production of Lynn Nottage's Ruined on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the Paul and Margery Wolf Kuhn Theatre of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. The production will be directed by Bryce Britton, instructor in theatre arts.

What follows is a description of the show: Based in the brutally war-torn Democratic Republic of Congo, a rain forest bar and brothel's shrewd matriarch, Mama Nadi both protects and profits from the women whose bodies have become battleground between the government soldiers and rebel forces alike.
