Penn State Altoona offers stock market workshop

Penn State Altoona will offer a stock market basics workshop in April.

Participants will have the opportunity to experience the excitement of managing an investment portfolio on a virtual trading platform and will be able to continue trading for an extended period of time, even after the seminar has ended. The experience will be true to life and will allow participants to trade stocks, bonds, mutual funds, options, and futures as well as spot contracts for world currencies and commodities on more than twenty global exchanges.

The workshop will be held in the Sheetz Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence in downtown Altoona from 5:30 - 6:45 p.m. on April 3, 10, and 17.
