Professor earns research fellowship

Richard Flarend, associate professor of physics at Penn State Altoona, has earned a research collaboration fellowship for this summer.

Flarend will collaborate with University Park colleague Jeffrey Brownson, assistant professor of energy and mineral engineering in Penn State's College of Earth and Mineral Sciences, on a project titled "Seasonal Storage of Solar Thermal Energy."

This University-wide fellowship program was established in order to encourage research collaboration among faculty members across Penn State.
