Kappa Delta Pi to hold induction ceremony on March 17

The Penn State Altoona chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, an international education honors society, will welcome new members in their induction ceremony on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts. Those in attendance should plan to be seated by 9:45 a.m.

Kappa Delta Pi (KDP) is dedicated to fostering excellence in education and in promoting fellowship among dedicated educators, including pre-service teachers. The honor society's mission is to meaningfully impact and sustain our best and brightest students in becoming outstanding educators. Students being initiated have been carefully selected based on very stringent expectations, high academic accomplishments, and promising leadership examples as prescribed in the chapter bylaws.
