Faculty and students discuss reproductive control and women's lives March 15

As part of the commemoration of Women's History Month, Penn State Altoona's Women's Studies program and the Women's Studies Student Association will present "A Fertile History: Reproductive Control and Women's Lives" on Thursday March 15, 2012 from 12:05 - 1:15 p.m. in room 135 of the Hawthorn Building.

Julia Hudson-Richards, assistant professor of history, Esther Siegfried, assistant professor of biology, and a panel of students will speak about the science, history, and importance of birth control in light of the recent controversies in Congress and popular culture.
