Penn State Altoona will present Abzahrah Middle Eastern music and dance on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. in the TV Lounge of the Slep Student Center.

Abzahrah's dazzling performances exhibit modern, traditional, and folkloric Middle Eastern music and dance with flowing veils, rhythmic finger cymbals, shimmering canes, and sparkling candles. Each performance features original and authentic traditional costumes and props from the company’s own collection. The result is an increased awareness of the value of Middle Eastern culture and the centuries old tradition of Middle Eastern music and dance.

The event, which is sponsored by the Office of Institutional Equity, Diversity, and International Student Services, will feature refreshments and giveaways.
