In commemoration of Asian Pacific Heritage Month, Penn State Altoona will present Taikoza, a Japanese drum and dance ensemble, on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. in the Edith Davis Eve Chapel.

Experience the powerful rhythms, and room-thumping energy of the Taiko drums. This exciting group draws from Japan’s rich tradition of music and performance to create a highly visual performance blending the soulful flutes, colorful dances, and the powerful Taiko drums.

Refreshments and giveaways will be available. This event is sponsored by the Office of Institutional Equity, Diversity, and International Student Services.
