Penn State Altoona Jazz Band set to perform spring concert

Penn State Altoona's University Jazz Band will perform Saturday, April 28, 2012, at 2:30 p.m. in the Paul R. and Margery Wolf Kuhn Theatre of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts.

Directed by Kent Martin, lecturer in music at Penn State Altoona, the University Jazz performs selections from a historic and contemporary big band jazz repertoire. This concert will feature music in a variety of styles from the jazz idiom. It is free and open to the public.

The box office and galleries of the Misciagna Family Center are open 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Monday - Thursday and before and during all performances. Performance and ticket information may be obtained by calling the box office at 814-949-5452.
