Albanese selected as artist of the month

The sketch artwork of James Albanese, instructor in communications at Penn State Altoona, is on display on Altoona Public Access Cable Channel 14 during the month of March.

Albanese, known to area radio listeners and music fans as Jim Price, has been selected as Altoona Public Access Cable's Artist of the Month.

The sketches depict a variety of area bands and musicians, and were drawn on location at various Blair County-based music venues. The sketches were all done with ballpoint pens on 3-by-5-inch notepad paper sheets.

Albanese has completed more than 150 such sketches since December, 2010.
