Poets Rachael Lyon Wiley and Brian Miller to read October 2

Rachael Lyon Wiley and Brian C. Miller will read from their new chapbooks of poetry on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 in the Titelman Study of Penn State Altoona’s Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts.

The reading begins at 7:00 p.m. and will kick off Hard Freight Café, an open mic event sponsored by Penn State Altoona’s English program and student literary magazine.

Rachael Lyon Wiley is an Instructor in English at Penn State Altoona and a Senior Academic Adviser at the University Park campus. She will read from The Normal Heart and How it Works (White Eagle Coffee Store Press, 2011).

Brian C. Miller graduated from Penn State Altoona in 2005 with a major in English. He will read from The Blue and White Tent (Finishing Line Press, 2011).

The reading and open mic event are free and open to the public. Copies of the poets' books will be available for purchase.
