Rotunno kicks off faculty speaker series focusing on teaching and research

Laura Rotunno, associate professor of English at Penn State Altoona, will present the first of a new series of informal talks from 12:10 - 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2012 in the Fireside Lounge of the Slep Student Center. The Spotlight on Teaching and Research (STAR) Series will give faculty the opportunity to share how their research influences their teaching, and vice versa. Rotunno's talk is titled "'Letters! . . . I believe [she] dreams in letters!:' Enveloping My Teaching in My Research." The series is co-sponsored by the English and Honors programs. Pizza will be served; attendees should bring their own drinks. The event is free and open to the campus community.
