College to host Ag Major Event on October 10

Students can meet and discuss their intended majors with academic advisors from the College of Agricultural Sciences at the Ag Major Event. The event will take place on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in the Pond View Lounge of the Slep Student Center.

Whether you are interested in the animal sciences; business management; community, environment and development; forest science; education; engineering; the environment; horticulture; turfgrass science; immunology and infectious diseases; toxicology; pre-vet or pre-med plus much more, advisors will be available to answer your questions and discuss academic plans.

The College of Agricultural Sciences offers many incentives and opportunities to students. Each year the college awards over $1.8 million a year to 700 agricultural science students which is one of Penn State’s largest scholarship programs. In addition, if you are interested in travelling abroad, the college has a diverse selection of study abroad programs ranging from 10 days to semester long programs with potential scholarships to assist in covering travelling costs.
