Change of Campus Information Session set for November 29

Penn State Altoona students intending to change campus to University Park in either January or August 2013 should plan to attend an information session on Thursday, November 29, 2012 from 12:15 - 1:00 p.m. in the Pondview Lounge of the Slep Student Center.

The session will deal with the following topics:

-- Making certain you are following the appropriate steps in preparing to change campus location.

-- Making a successful academic transition, including information on entrance to major, the academic transition to larger classes, course load for the first semester, and advisor assignments.

-- Housing on- and off-campus at University Park/State College.

The program is sponsored by the Academic Information and Advising Center, the Office of the Registrar, Housing and Food Services, and the Division of Student Affairs.
