Service Scholarships available for 2013-14

Penn State Altoona’s Center for Community-Based Studies will offer scholarships of between $1,000 and $1,500 in the form of AmeriCorps Education Awards to students for the 2013-2014 academic year. The awards enable students to work on faculty-supervised projects that address community needs while earning money to pay for college costs or to repay student loans. Interested students enrolled in any degree program should contact Tom Shaffer at 814-949-5789 or tls24@psu.edu by March 1, 2013.
