Annual Tech Fair set for Oct. 2

Penn State Altoona's Office of Information Technology is pleased to present their annual Tech Fair on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. in the Slep Student Center.

The Tech Fair will feature a vendor hall, open from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. The vendor hall will feature the latest in technology, meet with vendors, and enter for a chance to win prizes (Penn State ID required). For more information, visit online.

OIT will host a number of opportunities for technology training available in throughout the day in the Slep Fireside lounge. To guarantee a seat, you may register using the links provided, or you can just stop in as your schedule allows:

10:30 - 11:00 a.m. – UCS Training -§ionId=395100&paCode=PA0002

11:15 - 11:45 a.m. – Faculty Tools: Doceri and Clickers -§ionId=395450&paCode=PA0002

12:00 - 12:30 p.m. – Media Commons 101: Engaging through Multimedia in Your Classroom -§ionId=395500&paCode=PA0002

In conjunction with the Tech Fair, OIT will host a “grand opening” event in the new One Button Studio in room 10 of the Aaron Building 10, located at Penn State Altoona's downtown location. The hours for this event are 10 a.m. - noon and 2 - 4 p.m. Please note the space will be closed from noon - 2 p.m. If you are unfamiliar with the One Button Studio and would like to know more, visit online.
