Emerging writer Blum to present reading on Dec. 5

Penn State Altoona will present a reading by 2013 Emerging Writer Isaac Blum on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 4 p.m. in rooms 101-103 of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts.

Isaac Blum is from Philadelphia. He graduated from Tufts University with a BA in English. Blum went on to earn his MFA in creative writing at Rutgers University. His stories and essays have appeared in The New York Times, Poetica Magazine, The Baltimore, The Oklahoma Review, West Trade Review, Young Adult Review Network, The Humor Times, and a number of other publications. Some of his newer, experimental writing will appear in the debut issues of 3Elements Review and Blotterature.

Refreshments will be served following the reading.
